Exploding with confidence, Austen is empowering pop music that encompasses elements of hip-hop production and a punk attitude. Her visuals are a retro throwback to 90s hip-hop and punk fashion with her own modern twist incorporating bold red, blue and yellow colours.

Her first single, Faded, was released in late 2015 immediately garnering the attention of some of the biggest names in Australian electronic music including, Nicole Millar, KLP, Just A Gent and Running Touch.

Since the success of her debut single Faded, she has gone on to release two additional singles, Darkside and Storm. Both racking up over 600,000+ Spotify streams, a feature on Kuren’s 2017 single Mon Amour, national support slot on The Kite String Tangle’s tour and a hugely successful showcase at the EMC Conference in Sydney mid 2017.

In 2018, Austen only expanded upon her young career by releasing her critically acclaimed single, Too High To Cry in June. After this single, Austen toured the east coast including a sold out hometown show in Brisbane, was hand picked by triple j Unearthed to showcase at BIGSOUND 2018, became the Unearthed Feature Artist in September and performed as the main support on Paces national tour in November.

With two singles, an EP and her debut EP national tour on the way, it’s safe to say Austen is one to watch in the next 12 months.
