the worlD... Australian duo HOLY HOLY have experienced much even before launching an album. But now their debut, When The Storms Would Come, is finally here – and it's vaster, and wilder, than anything they've aired to date.
HOLY HOLY is a musical project born of award-winning singer songwriter Timothy Carroll from Brisbane and guitarist/composer Oscar Dawson from Melbourne. Dawson and Carroll met working as English teachers in South-East Asia. They serendipitously met in Europe during 2011
(Carroll was living in Sweden working on a solo proje
ct, Dawson was living in Berlin with another band). When Dawson travelled to Stockholm on unrelated business, he tracked down Tim for a spare mattress; the two ended up recor
ding a demo for what, unknown to them, would become one of Holy Holy’s first songs.
