Regurgitator have always embraced their flaws, their limits, fucked with technology, genre... the entire twisted process. Worked it as hard as they could, pushed all over the place in the quest for bettering themselves, shifted farther and faster than could stay on their feet, and endured time stronger for it. In the end what is the Imitation but a simulacrum of the live performance... the meticulous production of the recording versus the spontaneous energy of the in-the-moment live
representation of the song.
Since forming in1993 Regurgitator have released ten Albums(4 of those landing in the top 10 Album charts) have won countless Aria Awards and had two of their albums
(Unit and Tu–Plang) voted into Triple J’s Hottest Albums of all times... Unit coming in at number 10.
In 2013 Regurgitator blew the roof off the Pineapple Fest in front of 13000 people.. 3 years down the track and the Brissy legends are back to blow us away again with their killer live show.... Can’t wait!!!
